Hello everyone I will be an incoming freshman and just want your guys opinion on my schedule, I am an accounting major btw so here we go.

Accounting201 ( intro to financial accounting)
English 101( College Writing II )
Eco110 ( Intro to Microeconomics)
His101 ( US Civil War to 1877 )
Math 101 ( Elementary College Math )
and also any insight into any of these classes would be great, I never did accounting in HS so I am really nervous about ACC201. Thanks everyone

Seems like a good schedule, lots of variety. I have heard accounting can be a fierce class even for those good in math, just stay on top of the workload and don’t be afraid to ask for help.

That looks like a good schedule. I am also an accounting major and I took a similar schedule my first semester and did fine. Although it is definitely important to understand the concepts of financial accounting for later accounting classes, I did not find it difficult at all. I also did not take an accounting class in high school.

That looks like a pretty reasonable schedule to me. Between English, History, and Econ you’ll likely have a fair amount of reading, but it shouldn’t be bad at all.

Accounting is only time consuming, conceptually it can’t compare to math & science. The US History class will be terrific. What an interesting period of time to study.

You’ll be fine! I’m an accounting major and I took intro to financial acct my second semester of freshman year. Some parts are tricky, but you just to put forth some time to try to understand all of the concepts. Good luck!
