Some universities simply don't consider international students as prospective applicants while others have set quotas. Is it highly uncommon for international students to pursue medical degrees in the US after four years in a US college?

I don't know how many pursue medical degrees in the US but i do know that financial aid for such endeavours is non existent, which, obviously, deters a lot of students

from what i've heard, yes. even though you have an undergraduate degree from U.S college. btw they do not prohibiy int'ls to apply, so if your grades and MCAT scores are SUPER SUPER great, you probably will got in. But I'd recommend if you're interested in pursuing medical profession, do it in your own country (i know it's also soooooo difficult but still a lot easier than doing it in U.S. )
