How receptive are US medical colleges to int'l applicants?

since there are quotas on the number of international applicants in US medical schools (for example in a class of 100+ there is 1), and they are usually required to deposit four year's worth of tuition in advance, how different is it to be an international applicant?

do the schools demand considerably higher MCAT and GPA scores than their average for domestic applicants?

on the personal level, i just received word for an interview for BU's 7 year medical program, even though i already withdrew my application (going to cornell instead :) so even though it's not impossible, i'd like to know more about the process. thanks!

Thats the Q I have been asking about n no one is giving me a hint :(

Do we really have to pay the 4 years in advance ?? What other procedure should be made ? No financial aid
