Im trying to decide whether to take Calculus AB or BC. How hard was it? How much homework did you get? Were you able to understand the concepts? Any help is appreciated.

I’m in AA PreCalc now, which is a combination of trig, precalc, and calc A. My teacher now gives ridiculous amounts of homework and her tests are pretty challenging, so you have to know the material really well. From what I’ve heard from the seniors, Precalc is harder than BC (which I will be taking next year), at least at our school. I would talk to someone who is taking it now and compare it to your current class to see if you want to take it.

Easy, at least I think it’s easy.

the actual problems you have to solve are very easy and methodical. What’s a bit harder is understanding why you’re doing things, and how calculus actually works. In essence, it’s easy to get an A and a 5 on the ap just by hugging formulas and practicing problems. It’s a bit harder to take away an understanding of the subject.

Homework is all subjective depending on the school/teacher…
