<p>The test was hard for me. I took two years of chemistry (advanced, not AP second year) and got a 4 on the AP. I studied the week/night before and took one practice test. I got a 680. I got 800s on physics, math2c, and math and 700s on all my other tests with the same study FYI (just so you know I'm not stupid). I think if you feel well-prepared, take it. I didn't, and it shows.</p>

<p>730 is just a percentile of 78%, which is pretty bad. so i decided to retake it</p>

<p>QUESTION ABOUT THE SAT SUBJECT TEST IN CHEMISTRY (SAT 2)?
I’m going to be taking the SAT subject test in chemistry this Saturday and i am in no way ready for it. I studied very little but know only a little bit like the beginning chapters (electrons, atomic structure, bonding and gas laws). So my question is…Is it impossible to at least get a 450 or higher on the exam without studying enough ? How hard did you have to study to get a good grade. Also, i was wondering how many questions can I get wrong,leave blank, and answer correctly in order to help me raise my score?

<p>To continue in this thread’s revival: I’m taking it tomorrow as well. I got a 4 on the AP exam, and a 660 the first time I took the subject test (December; halfway through the AP class) and I’m hoping for a 750+…</p>
<p>I’m taking it today… I haven’t had chemistry for 2 years and on the AP exam I got a 3. I sure hope I remember some stuff! I did the diagnostic test for barrons and I got a 540 or so but that is with answering all the questions. If I didn’t purposely answer all the questions, i have a chance of making it to the 600’s range but eh… i’m scared!</p>

<p>I thought today’s test was a lot harder than June’s.</p>
<p>And the percentile ratings for this test are absolutely horrible! June I got a 680 (first time taking it) and was in the 45%. :</p>
