I intend to apply to Georgetown (Walsh School) RD this year, but really have no idea on precisely how selective it is. I know it's difficult, but since the Georgetown forum itself is so small, I find it hard to assess this objectively.

Let me give you my stats, and I'd appreciate your thoughts.
Asian Male from NJ
GPA: 3.8 UW, 4.45 W (I don't know if my school gives out decile rankings - it definitely doesn't give numbers - but I'd be in top 10% easily, probably top 1%, of class of ~723)
SAT I: 790M, 800V
SAT IIs: 800s in Math IIC, Chemistry, and Physics; 790 in US History (grr...)
APs: 5s in AP Calc BC, AP Chemistry, AP English Lang, AP Physics C, AP US History; am taking AP Euro, AP English Lit, AP Stat, AP Bio, AP Govt., and AP Comp Sci this year.

Essay: Pretty strong, I'd say.
Recs: The one from my social studies (International Studies, World History, AP Govt. teacher) teacher should be kicka**; the science one will show respect for my hard work, but unfortunately, nothing stellar.

ECs:
Academic Team (captain); Math Team (co-VP); Math Honor Society (treasurer); Debate Team (webmaster); Model UN (student leader)

Awards/Extras:
Won a set of Model UN, Model Congress Awards; Sci Bowl (which I've participated in actively) team has won state championships every year; won a bunch of impressive but not "elite" math/science awards; Taking Modern Physics at Rutgers (since done with HS Physics)

Summers/Volunteering:
Spent one week at Boys' State (program in Government), elected Mayor, County Executive, City Editor, and Editor in Chief of the paper; spent six weeks in India helping poor government schools; Spent summer before that skipping Physics Honors; Have 250+ hours of volunteer work at old age home

Hooks (if any): Summer volunteering
Unhooks :-P : I got a B+ in Honors spanish

Also, does having a strong science side (along with my non-science side) show a "balance" they may like? Do I have any other real hooks?

Thanks a lot. Appreciated greatly.
