I am going to be an upcoming freshman at Cornell CALS and on my application, I had put down that I was going to persue a degree in enviromental engineering. However, if I feel that enviro. engineering doesnt suit my interests or if I find something else I like (such as bio or animal sciences), how easy is it change change my major to a different one in the College of Agr. and Life Sciences?

Easy. As long as you don’t want to do AEM.

How about changing major across schools like from Arts and Sciences to CALS? Why is it so difficult to change to AEM? Is it impossible?

To change to a major in a different college, you’ll have to transfer to that college. So to switch from a CAS to a CALS major, you’ll have to transfer from CAS to become a CALS student.
