<p>You don’t need to get a 4.0 to get accepted into medical school. A 3.8 should work. I wouldn’t advise you to concentrate so much on getting perfect grades. There is much more interesting things you can do like getting involved in academic research.</p>
<p>You have to get a perfect score every semester.</p>
<p>Most people will get sick several times in eight years. Especially in the close quarters of being a student in classes and in living arrangements. Being out for a week could cost you enough points on a test, paper, quiz, etc. to knock your grade down. If you are generally immune to everything out there, then your chances go up.</p>
<p>You have to get every assignment done on time and to the satisfaction of the professor.</p>
<p>You might run into one of those professors that hands out one or two As per semester.</p>
<p>You might want to go to parties, play a sport, work one or two jobs, etc. during the semester. These are all things that can knock your grade a notch.</p>
