<p>I don’t think CAS and COE are heavily focused on your major in terms of admission.
In fact, I don’t think they look at it all (only 2 colleges at Cornell that do it this way). It’s only for determining your adviser. That said, if you are interested in a certain major and you show an interest in it through your essays and activities, I’m sure that could help you.</p>
