Thank You!

Hi ELKyes - I am new to this forum. I think I sent you an email, but I am not sure if it went through, so here’s my question. My daughter received her Honors College acceptance package and she was invited to interview for the William Aikens and other merit scholarships on Jan.31st and Feb.1st. I see that your son attends the Honors College. Do you or does he have any experiences to share as to what she can expect during those two days?

i sent you and e-mail

A little maybe take the test again

Hey, I am a junior in state and am looking to apply to either University of South Carolina (USC) or COC. I am a singer/songwriter and I am looking for a college with a good english program in a city with a good music scene. I have good grades, I will have taken at least 5 APs, and on my last PSAT I got a 580 on math and critical reading and a 670 on writing. Does anyone have some pros and cons of USC versus COC?
Any opinions on which one is a better fit?

Hi, I am a current senior going to a private school in CT. I applied to CofC EA. I got a 26 on my ACT and have a 4.12 weighted gpa. I’ve taken 5 AP courses throughout high school and am in the ranked no. 9 in my class out of 98. The only thing I am worried about is my test scores. If I were in-state I wouldn’t be as worried but since I am oos the demands are higher. I didn’t send my SAT scores at all because I got a 1660 on them and so my ACT is better.
