Just got an acceptance to Uconn Business School.

3.7 weighted GPA, probably 3.4 unweighted.
All honors and AP courses. A few large leadership roles, but not that many ECs.
SAT-1410/1600

im a junior in high school. me and my girlfriend want to go to the same school and uconn seems perfect for both our majors (law and psychology) we go to a great school in CT and i have a 3.7 (90 A-) GPA (unweighted) right now. im taking 3 APs currently and have taken an ass-load of honors. Her GPA is higher (like 3.8?) but she didnt take as hard classes (alot of honors only one ap so far)
we obviously dont know our SAT scores yet but were going to take a SAT prep course… my PSAT says my SAT scores are about 1150… but im assuming with prep classes it will raise…
two questions:
how much does prep classes help?
and what SAT should we shoot for to be considered “in”?

@21dg212 are ur PSAT’s an 1150 without writing cuz if so then thats a great score but if thats combined then u’ll need to work hard and bring up ur score. ur gpa looks really good but according to most gpa scales a 90 is a 3.5 and the fact that u’ve taken AP classes will help too i hope u and mikala both get in!!!

thanks natasha! i hope we get in too haha that would be AWESOME. although i dont think there’s coed dorms… lol
