I've been reading all of these forums, and it seems that everyone has a high gpa, high sat scores, and many extra curricular activities. I applied to uconn early action and I have been waiting for a reply, I'm curious to know my chances? I understand that uconn is much harder to get into then it used to be, but do they still accept average students? It is my number one school.

Gpa-3.2/4.0 (B+ average)
SAT 560m 560r ..1120 combined
lots of extra curriculars
work 15/20+ hours a week

I sent my application in November 6, but I also took the November sats.. When should I be hearing back?

anyyy information would help a lot.. I'm getting worried! Thank you :)

Your SAT scores are a little low, but you still have a chance. If you took the November SAT’s and applied early action, I suspect that you will hear by the end of the month.

I know what you mean RP, my GPA is about a 90 and my SATs come to a 1200. I have extra curricluar activities and athletics. I applied in mid november for early action and have yet to hear back about their decision…I know a lot of people from my school who have already heard and most of them were accepted…have you received an email or anything from the school?

I would say that I’m also average. Right now, I’m working on transferring from Baylor University, where my GPA is a 3.4. I had lots of EC activities in high school, but only one right now. In high school my GPA was about a 90-91 overall, and my SATs were not spectacular - 470 on the math section and 610 on the language section. Does this sound feasible for a transfer?
