I currently have a composite score of 24. English is my highest score with a 28, then I have a 23 in math, a 24 in reading, and a 20 in science. Is there anyone on here who has raised their composite 6-8 points? If there is, some advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Well I raised mine 5! Haha. 21-26. I worked really hard on my lower sections. That’s my best advice. My Reading was my lowest on the 21 (A Horrific 18) and I raised it to a 27. Work really hard on them, do a few web searches on the best way to raise them. Read books, whatever. Take practice tests too

Thank you!!

My nephew started out at 24 and took the test eight times. He finally ended up with a 34. The reason for the slow rise is that he was having trouble finishing.

My son made a 24 in seventh grade and a 30 at the end of the eighth grade. So you can expect your scores to rise each year.

I probably had a 18 or 17 and I scored a 27 at June and I’m good for at least 31 now. I have studied for over 150 hours and I used Barron’s ACT 36, Cracking the ACT, The Real ACT, Princeton Review’s 1296 questions, and some additional practice exams. I have done almost all of the tests in The Real ACT and Cracking the ACT twice and I just discover strategies as I go. If you started with a 24 you can easily raise it to a 30 with less than a hundred hours of prep. Good luck!
