I am wondering how hard the math level 2 is. I bought barron's book, but it is really hard. very tough questions. i know that the real ones are not that difficult, but how much easier are they? any tips how to get a really good score on the test?

Barons is alot more difficult than the real thing. Don't sweat it. The real thing was much much easier in my opinion. Try doing some of the questions in that SAT II preparation packet on cb.com

just j/k. Math 2 is a joke. Just do Barrons and you'll be fine. I reviewed the material a week before I took the test. Sadly, I didn't have time to take practice tests. I got 750. And I'm happy.

It's easy. Trust me. But remember that the very top schools know this, and so anything less than an 800 might not be good if you're considering a major with a lot of math. Ben Golub, a representative from Caltech, has said a few times in his posts here that anything less than an 800 will detract from your application if you apply there. If you want an idea of what the questions are like, head to the CB's official website and then to the SAT Subject Tests prep center.

It's easy, but I dont think that it matters if you use a ti-89 as opposed to any other graphing calculator: i dont think i used any special features (that a ti-83,etc would not have).
