I’m thinking of coming to Berkeley in the Fall and will be doing FPF. My dream school is USC, and I was looking to attend Berkeley temporarily and if it’s not my fit by the end of freshman year, I would transfer out. If I love Berkeley, then obviously I will continue to study there. With this in mind, the average GPA for USC transfers is around 3.7.
Could anyone in Pre-Haas (pre business) give me advice on how hard it actually is to attain that GPA. I’m looking to take classes like Calculus, English Composition 2, MicroEcon, Accounting, other GE’s since these are transferrable and recommended for USC. I work pretty hard, but I’m not sure about how rigorous Berkeley is. I also will go for an active social life there and possibly rush/pledge a frat, so that’s something to keep in mind when I try to get this GPA.
Please give any advice or feedback - especially if you were in pre haas or took any of these courses at Berkeley. Deadlines for registrations are approaching and need help asap.
