<p>Any Spanish majors or minors out there, how difficult are the classes at Michigan? I have AP credit that gives me credit for SPAN 277, which is the pre-req for all the other Spanish classes above it. However, I haven't taken Spanish in over a year. Would taking SPAN 340 first semester be extremely difficult?</p>
<p>I am from Mexico and will be an incoming freshman this fall. If you have not studied Spanish for a year you are gonna have a hard time. One year before moving to the US I dropped English classes and started learning German. Today my German is pretty good, I got into the third year because of the placement exam. However, when I moved two years ago to Texas my English was so ****ed up. So, hear songs in Spanish for a while or watch some movies for you to remember because if you jump right in there with your knowledge unpolished, it wont be very good.</p>
