I've done all my reading carefully and slowly, so I'm pretty confident so far on key terms and examples used in the reading. I've missed a few lectures though, (like maybe 3 to 4), but our professor seems to just regurgitate whatever is in the book in his lecture, so i don't know if missing a few lectures will be a problem :/

how hard was the poli sci 1 midterm for you, and how much do you think you have to study to get an A on it?

Dude… it’s PS 1… It’s not exactly rocket science…

Do you really need to ask?

And how many people do you see in lecture when you go? Just think about it.

I’m in PS1 as well at the moment so I don’t know if this helps but… My GSI said the midterm is basically the identification of a handful of key terms, and then you pick one of the two essay prompts and write. She hinted that one of the essays might have something to do with the Huey Long movie we watched last week… But to study, I’m just going to brush up on the readings and review the ID terms.

But I wouldn’t sweat missing a few lectures. Van Houweling is definitely a repetitious lecturer… I have sat through more than one Thursday lecture that seemed nearly identical to the Tuesday lecture from that week.

Wait, so what is the format of the midterm? Multiple choice and then an essay or what? Can someone fill me in?
