So...what kind of questions does Ross ask for the midterm. Does he ask about what the speakers do, their stance on the issues....or does he ask about the facts that they give in regards to the issues?

All of the above. Some questions are stupid, but if you’re a good listener, you’ll think it’s a piece of cake.

You have to get 35/50 correct, if I remember right.

If you’re worried about passing a one unit course, you might as well just audit or listen to it from a friend’s bSpace. Take a Decal for that 13th unit, if that’s what you’re doing :D

cool cool

( and no, I’m not scared of passing a 1 unit course, I just want to know what information is going to be pertinent and what I don’t need to write down)

Is the midterm this coming Wednesday?

Midterm? What?

IDK, I thought there was only a final…?

topic creator is just asking early on so he knows what to focus on from here on out.

no midterm

The final has always been multiple choice. Last semester the final was harder than it had been in recent years, in case you were wondering. Passing the final is easy if you pay attention to all the speakers.

The final last semester was true-false.

@hippo,

Why did you think there was a midterm? Am I missing something? Do I actually have to show up this Wednesday?

Ek,

The OP said something about a mid-term. Apparently, he meant final. I don’t believe there to be a mid-term this wednesday or any until the date of the final exam in May.

lol yeah, she meant final

Oh, sorry, forgot the ‘S’ :D

anyone have anymore info on what the final’s going to be like?

The guy on wed was funny but I was kindof disappointed that he wasn’t someone famous…like Gavin Newsom

The final is just 50 questions, true/false. The speakers and their respective positions will be on the front of the exam so you will not have to remember any very specific data.

cool…

So what kind of true or false questions are we going to be asked (speakers’ positions on ideas, accomplishments of speakers, etc)? I don’t want to spend more time than necessary because I have a ton of stuff due this week.

It’s not hard. Calm down.

I’m scared…what if I don’t pass???

jk :D
