You are getting great advice from very experienced posters. I am not very experienced but I do have a student who just started her undergraduate college education with the hopes of one day going to medical school. One thing that stood out to me in your comment above that may need clarifying for someone not familiar with the many quality colleges and universities in the US… if your definition of “great undergraduate college” means one you are familiar with you need to broaden your perspective. There are many wonderful schools across the US that even US residents have not heard of. So when you create your new Match Me thread, be open to the suggestions.
To get into medical school you need the prerequisite classes, good GPA, service and volunteer activities and patient-facing experience. @WayOutWestMom may correct me if I’ve misstated or missed anything. But the point I am making is that there are many, many places where that can be accomplished. At this stage you need to follow WayOutWestMom’s advice to see how you can get an undergraduate education in the US.
