As the title states, how important are SAT/ACT scores for transferring? Are college grades/gpa regarded more so than standardized test scores? Thanks to anyone who can answer this question!
Most prestigious non-LAC unis require them. Most instates don’t, plenty of LAC’s don’t.
They will be fairly important for sophomore level transfers who do not yet have much of a college record. They will be less important (not used by some schools) for junior level transfers who have more of a college record.
It also may depend on your standing. For Sophomore transfers some schools might wish to see your high school and test records but not for Junior transfers.
