<p>How important are senior grades? would a .5 drop from a 4.0/4.8 in junior year ruin all chances for a top-tier school like dartmouth? even if the b's are unrelated to my concentration? taking 5 APs this year but it looks like my grades this semester are going to really suck</p>
<p>keep them up first semester. .5 drop won’t hurt too bad, but once you get your acceptance, you can probably slack off and take some pressure off yourself. the lowest i would let myself go would be a B/B- but one or two C won’t get you rescinded.</p>
<p>i think i’ll probably end up with a 3.5 this semester though, so that kind of scares me. and it’s really bad cuz i had a really steep upward curve until now. :O</p>
