I am an incoming senior and I was wondering how important summer programs are in terms of college admissions. This summer I’m doing an internship at a lab and I have a part time job, but I didn’t get into the summer program I was hoping to get into. The internship I’m doing is something I did last year.I got to do my internship by emailing various scientists and professors. So as a candidate for a school, would the lack of a summer program decrease my chances?
