How important are the subject tests?

I was planning on applying to Georgetown’s School of Business. I don’t know if it’s even worth the time, effort, and money when my score on Math 2 is so low (650!!!), especially for someone who intends to study finance.

My SAT I was fine (750+ on CR and Writing, 740 on Math). My other two subject tests were in the low 700s. Assuming everything else about my app is solid, how detrimental is a 650 on Math 2?

(I’m a senior so no time to retake now)

Or in general, how important are the subject tests? Because I keep hearing that a 750+ is basically expected . . .

I didn’t take any and I was accepted, so I don’t think they will make you or break you.

@fhgirl16 if that was EA, they don’t require subject tests for EA
