how important is GPA for grad school in music?

<p>Hey all, </p>

<p>I'm going to be applying for grad school in musicology at the end of next schoolyear and I'm getting a bit nervous about it. </p>

<p>I'm confident that I'll have solid writing samples, personal statement, and recommendations, but I'm kind of worried that my GPA is low... I don't think I can realistically get it above a 3.5 or 3.6 ... 3.5 is honors at my university though.</p>

<p>Is this going to be a big issue?</p>
