How important is GPA protection for a splitter?

This is a hypothetical. While it is well-known that GPA and LSAT are very important factors for law school admission, how important are 0.1 GPA differences for a splitter with a high LSAT score?

Hypothetically, for a student with an LSAT in the 173-175 range, is there much of a difference in law school admissions for 3.3 vs 3.4 vs. 3.5 vs 3.6? For a student at a Top 20 U, aspiring to a lower T14 law school, is it worth selecting courses to maximize GPA within that range, when there are other advantages to taking courses that may lead to a modestly lower GPA?

I recommend that you look at LSN, there must have been people with LSAT in the 173-175 range, and get 3.3-3.6 GPA.
An easier way, but less accurate, is to put in the numbers into lawschoolpredictor. It will give you a rough idea.
