I’m not religious in any regard, and frankly, very religious people of any faith usually make me uncomfortable (no offense if that’s you). It actually doesn’t really matter to me how religious they are as long as they’re respectful and not too…loud about it. However, I understand that Villanova is a Catholic university and I can’t expect people to cater to my preferences, so to speak. Do you think I should keep Villanova in consideration?
It’s not that important. Only a minority of students attend mass every sunday. Most students are only concerned about school and their social life. Religion, Politics, Current events etc are rarely discussed.
Thanks!
Agreed. Not important at all to be Catholic, and the only difference between them is that Catholics attend mass most sundays.
It’s somewhat important. Many big campus events will have some praying aspects to them ie break trips, freshmen escape, day of service etc… So as long as you are fine bowing your head and just going with the flow, it shouldn’t be too bad.
Also, you need to take 2 theology classses + 2 semesters of ACS (basically more religion down your throat.)
