how important is our CC GPA after transfer?

how important is our CC GPA after we transfer to UC, especially when it comes to applying for graduate schools. Will graudate schools place more emphasis on our UC GPA or overall GPA? Is there a big difference between a 3.6 and a 3.8 CC GPA after transfer?

I know law schools consider it. To what extent, I don't know. Just as UCs place more emphasis on your CC GPA than HS GPA, I'm sure graduate schools will place more emphasis on your UC GPA than CC GPA (but, then again, I don't work on an admissions committee). The difference between a 3.6 and a 3.8 is .2. :) It's impossible to determine if that will make a difference or not. There are just too many variables (the graduate school, the program, your UC GPA, test scores, essays, etc.)
