I just completed my alumni interview and I was wondering how important it is? What weight does it have on your acceptance decision???

Can definitely push you over if you're on the edge... it won't necessarily hurt you if you don't interview well... but it will definitely help if your interviewer writes you a stunning recommendation... so be sure to ace it

My interviewer told me he had never interviewed someone with such excellent ECs. I got rejected. Good luck.

Almost nil, unless you are a sociopath. It is meant to:

A) help you with any questions you have and encourage you to attend,

B) to weed out total loonies,

C) to find something not on the application that is outstanding,

D) to keep alums active in helping out the school
