I have been admitted into three funded CS Masters programs:one is practically unranked and in a not so great city,so i do not plan to take it.The second is the most highly ranked in my state with very good research facilities. It is not MIT or Stanford, even though it has plenty of faculty from MIT and Stanford. The problem is that it is in a very small city where it is basically the cultural and economic capital of the place. The third one is not very well ranked, but situated in a very big city with a possibility of getting decent jobs while in graduate school and of maybe having a life(if such a thing is possible in grad school).Where would it make sense to go?

Me, I’d go the the best program I can get into. You can go away and work in the summers, so many companies hire and pay a lot for summer interns, bank the funds and don’t work during the term.

Thanks for the advice, BrownParent!
