How important is visiting?

<p>9/10 of my schools are out of state and my family is sort of on the low end financially...so visiting a school isn't really feasible. </p>

<p>So how much does not visiting the schools you apply to hurt your chances? ...Especially if you're only a borderline applicant?</p>

<p>Visiting the schools won't hurt your application. Colleges understand that some/most people cannot take the time/money to visit the colleges. However, visiting a college will let you know more about it and what you prefer to see in a college.</p>
