How important is weighted GPA??

<p>Sorry for posting this in the Columbia section, really no where to ask this haha =]</p>

<p>but my school does not calculate weighted GPA even if one does the very rigorous Full IB workload.</p>

<p>Therefore, many "non-IB" students have near 4.0's, which leads to a higher class rank than those students with the full IB workload.</p>

<p>so my question is, will the colleges look at the class rank?? or will the nationwide standards of full ib offset this?</p>

<p>Columbia looks at everything… schedule, class rank, grades, how competitive your school is, etc.</p>
