How is Dartmouth Medical School?

<p>Does anyone know how good Dartmouth Medical School is? I'm really hoping to get accepted there after college. I'm currently going to Baylor University.</p>

<p>I have no knowledge of the merit of USNews medical school rankings, but FWIW, USNews ranks Dartmouth #38 in research and #31 in primary care. These are pretty good rankings but not tippy top.</p>

<p>BTW, Dartmouth Medical School is among the oldest medical schools in the US.</p>

<p>I didn’t like my years at Dartmouth as an undergrad, but I always liked what I knew of the Medical School. They truly have a mission about providing affordable care, through practice patterns and payment methodology. If that’s something that appeals to you, you’ll be hard-pressed to find better than Dartmouth’s medical school.</p>
