On a few forum threads, some people said that Economics was harder than business. How so? Is it solely because Economics is more theoretical, or are there other reasons?

Also, which degree has more promising job prospects? In other words, which degree tends to fare better in the job market?

I hear that Economics has much more higher level math.

This depends on the school and the degree program. It can vary widely. You really have to look at each on. Generally a BS will require more math, however a BA in Econ may be no more heavy then your Bus degree, or even less so. There is no singular answer for this.
