<p>I know pitt isnt ranked that high in engineering and i was wondering what the labs/equipment are like there. Are the computers old or nice and new? Are the labs nice? etc...would i be hurting myself going here instead of a top 20 engineer school?</p>
<p>My roommate is an EE and I have quite a few friends in the ECE department. The labs are big and nice (she showed them to me once) and the computers are not old (Benedum is getting a big renovation right now, so basically everything is becoming shiny and awesome and new). </p>
<p>The classes are tough. Real tough. My roommate actually is spreading out her courses over 5 years instead of 4 because it’s a huge workload. That said, she loves most of her professors and enjoyed her TAs and labs a lot too.</p>
