Hey,

Tell us what you think so far of your classes and professors, and the social life generally. My S and I are visiting next weekend, and he's interested in electrical and computer engineering. Thanks!

Social life here is far from the stereotype. There is a place for everyone. I, myself, am more social and outgoing and in the past 3 weeks I've already found my niche. Friends are easy to come by and the first week of orientation FORCES you to meet people outside of your major.

The only ECE class I'm taking is the introduction course. In the lab we're making a robot this semester. I had my first lab on Monday and I learned to solder components on a circuit board.

There isn't one professor I dislike.

All in all, I am literally blown out of the water. I wasn't expected this, and am extremely happy for chossing this university.

Thanks for your reply. That's really helpful to know. What classes are you taking this semester besides your intro course?

Courses:
Calc in 3D
Interpretation/Argument
Programming
