How is full time, part time, and on-call job experience considered in MBA applications?

I have had a couple full time positions, a couple part time positions, and most recently an on call position in casino security in which I work weeks some less than 40 and others more. I have worked part time in facility operations for a major vet med teaching hospital, part time/on call in events for the pac 12 and other events, full time for an internship in university administration, part time as a parking lot attendant, part time as store clerk, and part time for Walmart. I have had a sole proprietor business for probably 3 years+, mostly specializing in online website development and branding…more a pet project. I am about to start another business to do with phone repair. I also have some volunteer experience.

How can I improve my working experience in the eyes of MBA adcoms? I will be applying to programs next cycle, I am 26. Is my experience good enough? I will probably keep the job I have now as it is good money and I like it. Is that the right move? I will probably have a combined 3.5 years in Events/Security and like 5 or 6 total, albeit some of it will be part time (sometimes more than one part time job at a time. some of it on call. and some of it full time…).

Any advice?

Hi.
So I just visited Princeton University and while I am aware that they do not have an MBA program, I am sure they will they have a program that will absorb me and serve my professional interests. I felt quite intimidated on campus though I am sure that was due to my own nerves. Obviously I was surrounded by those academically elite.

My question still remains. How is my particular professional background considered amongst adcoms? I plan to visit at least two more schools, NYU and Yale. I will probably end up visiting Howard University as well. Any clue as to which Princeton University program is most closely aligned to an MBA and/or most fit for my academic and professional background? I am a philosophy major with a certificate in Business Management. My long term goal is to help along Africa’s progress. They have a Masters in Finance, Financial Engineering, Philosophy, the Humanities, Political Economy, Political Philosphy, Public/Social Policy…all of which are intriguing to me.

I plan, after graduate school, to go back to Africa. It is where I am from and where I feel I can serve the most good. Please advise.
