how is gannett health services?

my parents are having me use their insurance to save some money. will i still be able to get treatment at gannett? and if anyone has been there, how is it? are the people there knowledgeable and helpful? we have to make appointments unless it's an emergency, correct?

thanks

My D uses our family insurance. Gannett is not on our list of providers but she is seen there whenever she needs to, puts the bill on her university account and submits for reimbursement - usually 80/20 - through our insurance. She has gotten reimbursement before she has ever had to pay a bill.
She received great care there for normal run of the mill illnesses - ie Strep, UTIs, etc.
She has also had to go Cayuga Medical Center for emergency treatment of an asthma attack. Great care there as well.
As an aside she has also escorted of two friends with alcohol toxicity to Cayuga MC. Both students received excellent care. If your friends or you need it, do not hesitate to call.
Biggest problem with Gannett is weekend hours. I’m not certain but I think they are closed during the weekend.

a couple years ago I had a kind of weird health situation where it was not straightforward what was wrong, and I got great care at Gannett. it was no medical emergency, or serious illness, but it was definitely a problem that could have gotten a lot worse had it gone untreated. I felt very secure having them on campus. it was as good a doctor’s office experience as I’ve ever had.
