Guys, How is life at nyuad like? The environment there, the professors, the research opportunities??
I have applied there as an international applicant with a 1490 sat and 42 IB score. I want to double major in sociology and history. My essay is about how me being jealous about my brother affected my life.

Honestly, the process seems to be pretty random. They shortlist their candidates within 15 days ! Thats why I have heard stories of people getting into universities more prestigious than nyuad but not nyuad itself. The opposite also holds true, getting rejected from lower ranked schools but accepted by nyuad
Anyways, fingers crossed. Not my top choice though.
