How is one notified of acceptance into McCombs?

I had my interview, and I have a good feeling about it. Since then I've been checking my mailbox every day (which I usually leave unchecked for a week at a time). Does the McCombs school notify you with a big package, like they do with four-year colleges, or do people now get notified by email or phone? The last time I had to apply to a school and wait to see if I got accepted was in 1993.

Are you transferring from another school within UT or coming from a different school and applying to the university for the first time? Depending on the answer, I’d suggest checking your MyStatus page.

I have been out of school for a very long time and I have decided to get a P-MBA.

You will be notified of their decision on your MyStatus page first. Typically a letter is sent afterward, but not always. From what I understand, UT is relying less and less on paper as it tries to reduce costs and decrease its “carbon footprint.” Good luck.

I second checking the My Status page. My son never received a letter of acceptance; he just noticed the My Status page changed.
