How is pass/no pass viewed?

Thinking about switching my calc 2 class to pass/no pass. I don’t think I’m going to go to grad school so I don’t have to worry about that. However, I’m wondering how employers would see it.

What is your major?

If it is math/engineering, you have more math to come. You have to take Multi-variable Calc and Differential equations. You will do well or not do well so Calc 2 may be irrelevant.

If you are non STEM, then don’t worry.

As always, talk to your adviser first.

If you’re in the position where you can do it (depending on school/major/requirements/etc) it’s not viewed in a negative light.

Be sure you don’t need the grade for your major or any possible future grad school. If not then, in my experience, one or two P/F classes over a college career won’t phase potential employers,
