How is Santa Ynez?

I got an apartment there I guess. I was wondering what people think about these apartments.

I was wondering the same. I also am getting an apartment there. I’m gonna visit it during orientation hopefully. Or after orientation on my own.

I was wondering if you guys have found out who your roomates are? also wondering if you recieved an email a few days ago saying that they are offering spots in other apartments for people who are interested because they are over booked in santa ynez

roomie assignments are given out early sept. and yes I got that email.

I know this thread is pretty old, but I too got that message way back during August 2nd and I didn’t think of it as much up until now.

I received the “personal preferences” email along with the “overbooked” email.

Does that mean (The Overbooked email) that I do NOT have a place at Santa Ynez?

Or were they giving us an alternative place to stay because it’s a full load or something like that?

It honestly didn’t sound like a message saying I didn’t have a place at Santa Ynez. Usually they begin with “We regret to inform you…”

But towards the bottom it says “we have the following choices if you are interested in switching”. Well, I am not interested in switching, but I’m so confused.

Anyone have an idea? That would be really quite helpful, especially since Santa Ynez isn’t answering phone calls as of present.

Edit. Sorry for the inconvenience. As fate would have it, Santa Ynez called literally 50 seconds after posting this message saying that I do have a spot.
Again, sorry for the inconvenience.

santa ynez is ok, pretty good, the nice ones are the 400s cause they got redone a couple years back and maybe the 100s did last summer, you if get the second floor you have high ceilings that make the place seem bigger
