The statistics seem rather scary - only 90 per class are accepted to WWS? What is the application process about, and what is needed? Is there an interview?

And oh, is it possible to graduate as a WWS major in 3 years? :P

thanks! It'd be cool to know that there're WWS majors lurking around CC!

You apply to “Woody Woo” when you are a sophomore. The acceptance rate is about 50%. If you were able to gain a year of advanced standing based on AP and/or IB work, you might be able to graduate in three years but WWS requires a lot of coursework at the “300” level or above, all of which could be very difficult to fit into three years. There is no interview. Unless you have a GPA of at least 3.5, you’re unlikely to get serious consideration.

the GPA requirement isn't necessarily true-- I know people with lower GPAs in woody woo. They like diversity in the major, so people applying just as econ majors or whatever it can be harder to get in. But if you're really interested in something governmental then the essays matter a lot
