Three weeks into the year, my son is really getting settled at HWS. Although he didn't make the sailing team, a disappointment, he's determined to work on that so he can succeed next year, and in the meantime is thoroughly enjoying the debate team, which has its own challenges. He really likes all his classes and the professors: first year seminar, philosophy, anthropology, and history. He's finding them challenging and interesting. His roommate plays soccer so he's been to a couple of games and he attended his first college football game last weekend. He's made some good friends and enjoys hanging out with them. He still doesn't have his work-study arrangement set up yet; that's about the only aspect of his schedule still outstanding. How are your sons and daughters adjusting?
