How is the job placement?

Soo if we want to be an engineering major how good is the job placement here? Is it just exxonmobil that hires here? Since this school doesn't really have a nationwide reputation

Exxonmobil is one of the many companies that hire Lafayette engineers. While not necessarily limited to engineers, this link shows the top employers in each year during the last five years.

Based on my own experiences, the companies that usually recruit from Lafayette are:
Lutron Electronics
Clark Construction
Turner Construction
Air Products
ExxonMobil
Vitech
Victaulic

There are many others, but I just can’t remember them off the top of my head. It is also to be noted that each here, a decent number of engineering graduates go on to the top financial firms.

The college’s career services also conducts a survey of recent graduates within six months of graduation. Here’s a result of that survey from class of 2009-2013. These surveys have a high response rate.

I can’t remember where I read the statistics, but I remember the number. Engineering students have a much easier time finding jobs, and approximately 95% of students are either employed, or in grad school/applying to grad schools, within 6 months of graduation.
