I'm from NYC looking to transfer to FSU for the summer. How is the nightlife and do a lot of people stay on on-campus housing during the summer?

The first half of summer is quiet-Summer B, the second half is a bit busier-Summer C. Summer A is simply B+C. It is nothing like fall, however. There are about 5000 on campus beds and they are full fall through summer. I estimate there are 500 during summer B and 1500 during summer C as new freshman arrive.

There is nightlife, but again nothing like fall/spring.

Alletta, I’ve been to New York City and I’ve been to Tallahassee, Tallahassee is no New York City when it comes to nightlife! There will be plenty of students on campus summertime though, and plenty of fun things to do around town including adequate nightlife. Remember too with daylight savings time it doesn’t get dark until almost 9 p.m. summertime in Tallahassee so it’s a great time of year to take advantage of the summer weather in the Sunshine State to do a lot of outdoor activities too.
