I know many go on co-op, so does this make Northeastern not seem like a community?

Northeastern isn’t a small school- its possible that some semesters, you’re not going to see friends, but if you’re at all social you’ll know enough people that you aren’t going to be left hanging when others are on co-op. Even then many students will have co-ops in the Boston area or on campus itself, in which case many will stay in on campus housing for the duration. Of course, whether or not you think the place feels like a community is totally on you. You’re not going to know everyone, obviously, and to some people, being surrounded by people they’re unfamiliar with may not feel like a community, when to others, that you go to the same school will be enough to lump you into, what seems to them, a tightly knit bunch.
