How is the treatment you receive in college diff. from the one you received in H.S.?

As far as peers go, I received better treatment in college. At least I wasn't harassed and teased on a day to day basis. Most kids were more mature, too, and seemed to understand that the fact that a person was idiosyncratically different didn't mean that they had to make his life miserable.

As far as professors are concerned, a lot better, too. They were very intelligent and far from being the idiots that most of my high school teachers were.

School personnel. Worse. The administrative assistants, advisors, counselors, etc in high school were always warm and friendly. In college it was impossible for me to perform a task as basic as requesting a copy of my academic transcript or career advice without being treated condescendingly. "Garbage" is the word I'd use to describe what they seemed to perceive me as.

How about you?

Everyone please don’t post in this thread.

fiji water

Why not?

Haha, sorry

i had better treatment in preschool. we had naptime scheduled in, most of my time was spent playing, my classmates always brought in cupcakes on their birthdays, the room was filled with toys, etc..

Well in HS, it was hard to relate most of people because most of them weren’t all that smart. They were more into superficial things. So most of the time they just ignored me. College was different for me, in a good way, because I was surrounded by more like minded individuals. I made more friends and was treated nicely.

Don’t feed the ■■■■■, children.
