I realize the innovation academy is brand new but I'm curious to hear about any experiences good or bad that you guys have had or have heard of. Would you guys recommend I do Innovation academy?

I have to decide by wednesday between FSU honors and UF innovation so any info on Innovation academy would be really helpful in my decision.

Innovation academy. You still get to take classes at UF. It’s a great school and the program from what I heard is great. The only downfall is that you physically can’t take classes during the Fall but you can online

You probably made your decision already but I recently learned IA was structure after the honors program; main difference is the focus on innovation. Idk if that means anything to you but I thought it’d be neat to throw it out there

The restriction of no class in fall is not too bad, since you can still intern or take online courses in fall (thus getting the “fall” experience).

There is probably greater incentives for those in IA to stay on track and graduate on time, especially since there is the fear that classes may be harder to obtain if you do not. Also, since the number of degrees are limited (there are still plenty, but its not as many for those in the general program), I think you begin to connect with the students in your major earlier on.

Still interested in the statistics of the program as it evolves (how many offered admission, how many decide to attend, how many make it through each year).
