This was my 1st choice school and I’m honestly kinda shook. How do the waitlist statistics look?
I got wait listed as well, and I hate to break it to you but Umass amherst has an acceptance rate of 2% off their waitlist.

Wow that’s really low. Just got accepted to Lowell for engineering.
I chose the both option for being considered in the fall and spring for the wait list.
Kinda weird, I know people who took less rigorous classes with lower SAT scores who somehow got in over me.
Really a bummer since this was my top choice, maybe I can transfer my freshman or sophomore year at Lowell?
Electrical engineering 1st choice, Natural sciences undecided 2nd choice.
I really should have put a less competitive major as my 1st choice, I chose engineering cause my transcript is full of engineering courses.

Transfering from lowell, or really any other UMass or community college is not hard. Just make it clear in lowell that thats what you want to do, so that you take all classes that you can transfer.
