I am going to be a freshman at Boston College next year. However, I am from California and am moving houses to Boston as well. I got into schools such as USC before and yet i chose BC. and now i am having second thoughts about going to BC, and it would be more convinient to go to school in CA for personal reasons. i was wondering what are the possible ways, if any to transfer to a UC such as UCSD for your sophomore year, or any options in attending another school in CA for your sophomore year, and transferring your junior year?

whats wrong with BC
are u in the business program? its top 15

lol, if it's a personal reason, i don't think the business program prestige would matter.

but to answer your question, it's a lot harder compared to transferring from a cc, a UC, a CSU, and a private in cali.

Yea it's not about the prestige of BC, its a great school. I know it's really hard, because they give priority to CCs and things. I'm just wondering if anyone knows of people who have transfered to a UC from out-of-state colleges and if so, what year the did.

This is true for UC and CSU, but privates don't prioritize in-state applicants. Try for USC (especially since you've been admitted before).
